The love of God like a river
it sweeps,
All around it does flow
From your head to your feet.
The love of God is much more
than a feeling,
When your heart it does break
His love does the healing.
Whenever deep down you`re
feeling so cold,
The Lord is still there
Your hand for to hold.
Your heart with his hand holds
close to his breast,
Just like a mother
Her young does caress.
When sweetness of life has
lost its perfume,
It seems there`s no light
Just darkness and gloom.
God is still there when things
aren’t so bright,
He`s praying for you
Whilst you`re in such plight.
The love of God not one could
erase,
The hardest of heart
He will gently embrace.
