GONE BEFORE


There is pain and grief at the parting.
Things left unsaid,
Feelings unexpressed.
I wish I had....
If only.....
A life that was bright in this dark world
can only be seen now through the dark glass of memories.

There is peace and joy at the meeting.
The brightness that was only seen through the dark glass of faith
Is now seen clearly with full understanding.

We grieve at their leaving.
We rejoice for they have gone home.
