PREPARING
THE GROUND.
Cherry tree
blossoms a wonderful sight,
Each branch
bringing joy
The heart to
delight.
A beautiful
cloud all covered in pink,
Together
each petal
The sunbeams
do drink.
The branches
they dance yet never feel weary,
The skies
they do sweep
Making all
so cheery.
Whenever it
seems their journey does end,
They cling
to each other
As if to
befriend.
Rolled out
on the ground as carpet for kings,
Placed there
by angels
Somehow it
seems.
Preparing
the ground for king over all,
Returning to
earth
His people
to call.
King of all
kings one day coming soon,
To meet in
the sky
His bouquet
in full bloom.
Such a
display has never been known,
A seed from
the cross
This beauty
has grown.
