On a Sunday I read my bible
On a Sunday I sing and praise
On a Sunday I embrace my brothers
And my voice in worship raise
I am the perfect Christian

Monday
I'm stuck in a traffic jam
And my rage is centered on one man
The one in the van *********

Tuesday
No time to stop and read God's word
I'm too busy reading the news of the world

Wednesday
I'm rushing everywhere
I have no quiet time, no time for prayer

Thursday
Two good films, only one video
I'll miss a meeting and watch the show

Friday
My colleagues are all laughing,
I blush and walk away
They joke about religion and I don't know what to say

Saturday
I need to do the shopping,
I don't have time to share
I don't have time to listen,
But I really do care
I will pray for you
On SUNDAY

Sunday
Alleluia, amen
I'm off to church again
