Waiting

 I am waiting with impatience

For the Lord to answer prayer

I have asked for health and blessing

I have begged Him to be healed

But as I wake each day believing

Yet no answer is revealed.

I am asking for anointing

Take this burden far away

I am on my knees believing

But I do not hear an answer

I do not know what to do

I can only turn to you

I am on my knees rejoicing

I have seen the way to go

I have offered all to Jesus

Burdens, bitterness and woes

And thru tears of confession

Forgiveness comes from deep within

And as I forgive those who have hurt me

Jesus heals my wounded soul.
